Food, Outings | 9 CommentsThis week Helen, Joanna, Karen, Patricia, Shirley, Van and I went over to Jessica’s house.
After I finished eating breakfast, I received a phone call from Joanna to pick her and the others up from the train station.
Five minutes later, she called again to tell me that they changed their minds and would be going to Jessica’s dwelling by train themselves.
I was the first person to arrive at her house, whereby she gave me an official tour of it.
Leaving her sisters (Jennifer and Catherine) home alone (I told them to be extra vigilant!), the eight of us walked over to the video hire store.
Without thinking, I yelled out:
Why are we walking into a liquor store?!

Food, Outings | 5 CommentsI don’t want to be 16 — it’s too big a number.
But time sure does pass by quickly — I’m 16 (!). My birthday was on the 24th of May, a Saturday, but activities were stretched out as follows:
- Friday — went out for dinner
- Saturday — watched Indiana Jones
- Monday — friends organised a little party at school
