Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival 2012
May 6th, 2012We arrived early to this year’s Kodomo no Hi, avoiding the long queues for food later on in the day. 
The event showcased the Japanese culture, such as calligraphy, origami and ikebana (flower arrangement). 
We especially liked the railway models. My friend noticed a ‘person’ had fallen over! 
Before we left we bought a few greeting cards, handmade using Japanese paper. 
As it was a children’s festival, it was full of kids walking around in kimonos. How cute!
